Locust Tree Ranch
is owned and operated by Jan and David Temple in
Columbus, Indiana. We specialize in breeding
AQHA Buckskin, Dun and Grulla horses with the
modern pleasure horse bloodlines. We believe the
only way to
produce champions is breeding the great mares to the greatest stallion.
All of our mares are previous show horses with
world champion or honor roll titles. The mares
are bred to the hottest pleasure horse stallions
in the industry. Our foals have all been proven
performers, and if we are lucky, have the color
too.
The Buckskins, Duns and Grullas are one of the
most popular colors in the market today. This
color also makes them eligible to be triple
registered and opens the door to many other show
opportunities, titles, and futurity money. Many
of our colts have won IBHA world championships,
futurities, AQHA classes and won the popular
Reichert Celebration Color Futurity class. We
are centrally located in southern Indiana and
would love to have you stop by to see our mares and
babies.
